Project week with students from Torrevieja

Thirteen students and 3 teachers arrived to Krakow on Friday and visited Auschwitz. On Saturday, October 21, we met them in Krakow and visited Salt Mine Museum in Wieliczka. Our hosting families prepared various activities on Sunday.

On Monday, Spanish students presented their country in classes 8.A, 6.D, and 9.B. Czech pupils presented our country and city. Students communicated in English and Spanish languages, went for a walk to Bělský forest and visited the city center. On Tuesday, Spanish students introduced their country and Spanish language in classes 9.D, 2.D, 3.D, and 5.D. After a walk along the Odra River, students visited Science Museum U6 in Lower Vitkovice area. They really enjoyed the experiments. On Wednesday, our guests prepared a Spanish lesson for class 8.D. Members of school folklore group presented traditional dances and then taught Spanish students a dance called Těšiňok. Next students visited class 1.D and kindergarten. In the afternoon we visited the Landek Mining Museum.

On Thursday, pupils from classes 6.D, 8.A, 8.D, 9.B, and 9.D went together with our friends to Rožnov, Hukvaldy and Štramberk. Spanish students admired the variety of trees and colours. They had a great time in their hosting families. We hope that we will meet again in Torreviaja in May.
