Erasmus+ project meeting in Budapest

12.06.2023

A group of ten pupils from 8.B. 8.D and 7.D spent an unforgettable week (May 21 to 27) in a bilingual school in Budapest. Online meetings took place during the school year, and in March Hungarian students came to stay with us for a week. Pupils who accommodated Hungarian students at their homes took part in this trip. The program was rich. Our students visited many sights such as Buda Castle, Matthias Church, Fisherman's Bastion, St. Stephen's Basilica, Parliament, Vajdahunyád Castle, Heroes' Square, metro and also natural beauties, for example the Normafa Hill with a wonderful view of Budapestor the Lake Balaton. Pupils visited the Technical Museum, the Inverted House Museum, the Selfies Museum and participated in English, Science, and Mathematics lessons. In addition, they worked with Hungarian pupils on project tasks focusing on presentations of countries and the latest technologies. Our hosts were very kind and communicative. Even the younger students at their school can speak English very well, so the international cooperation went smoothly. The sunny weather accompanied us throughout our project meeting, which was successful in all respects. This Erasmus+ project was financed by the European Union.
