Erasmus Days 2022
On Thursday 13 October, the three-day Erasmus Days celebrations began. Our school joined other educational organisations from across Europe and overseas. Teachers and pupils shared their experiences of the Erasmus+ programme. The project days started in 9.B and continued in 2.A, 2.B, 2.D, 4.A, and 6.A classes.
Our school is implementing three Erasmus+ projects this school year. Last week we organised an international meeting and at the end of November a small group of pupils will visit a partner school in France. The other projects focus on teacher training and a group visit of at least 15 pupils. In May, a group of Year 9 pupils carried out a project in Gdansk. We will prepare a similar project abroad this school year.
Through presentations, quizzes and other activities pupils learnt about the European countries and their traditions. Educational materials and small gifts were donated to the participating classes by the House of International Cooperation.
