International project Erasmus+ "Sustainable Development: Possible Solutions"

This project focuses on the environment, social changes and finding solutions. Our school cooperates with schools from France, Portugal, Finland and Greece since October 2020. Pupils started to work together through online meetings in eTwinning Live, Teams, Meet.jit.si and Zoom. Our pupils prepared a knowledge quiz for their friends about the Czech Republic and the European Union. They watched presentations created by pupils from Portugal, France and Greece. This year they are preparing presentations of our country, school and Ostrava in English.

We are planning a joint meeting of pupils in France in January and in May in a Greek school. During the meetings, pupils will learn about the environmental problems, visit power plants, national parks and together they will look for solutions to improve the current situation. The project will be continuing next school year, when meetings will take place in our school and in Finland.
